The Seattle Mariners need a big bat in a big way. Still a few free agents out there Abreu, Dunn, Griffey... I suspect the New GM Mr Z will wait into spring training when teams get down to their last cuts and pick up one or two bats then. something low risk with potential big upside. ie R Branyan, maybe even one of several young bucks may get a chance. it will be interstying to see how it all shakes out..... What do you think ? any juicy rumors ?

OK, OK , a bird in the hand. Actually having a Super Bowl Champ is way better than being optimistic that things will get better sooner rather than later.

I love Arizona. I love the weather, all year round. It's so much more enjoyable than most of our great countrys'. The Sports teams are all Exciting and enjoyable to watch, I know, I lived most of my life in Seattle and except for 1979 Sonics, 2001 Mariners, 2006 Seahawks , and a few U W Huskies Rose Bowl games, it was a very frustrasting 50 years for any Sports fan.
Now How about those Arizona Cardinals, the have exceeded all expectations this year, and now have to face this years Superbowl champs, yes, Mid-way I said Philly, Baltimore, Pittsburg, Arizona, NY Giants, Tennessee , New England & Indy were the best teams in 08-09. Obviously I'm not a genius, but I didnt think much of Green Bay, Atlanta, Washington, San diego , Carolina, Miami, OR Chicago. This years Seahawks were an embarrassment to Seattle Sports,... wait a minute .... what about the 2008 Mariners, 2008 Huskies, and the SONICS. Until just recently I was hoping Seattle would get an NBA Team in 2010-2011 , but my loyal Seattle Sports fan background is fading fast. I moved to Arizona in 2006 and as hard as it's been the past 3 years, I'm just now converting. I still have feeling for the Mariners and have great hopes for them from here on out. Yes Mariners vs D Backs in Series. what are the odds ?

Arizona Cardinals win their Division ! Like I said, "put that in your book" . The Seattle Mariners get a great ' to be' GM, and he picks an exciting choice for the new Manager. An excellent trade ! next on the list sign one or two power bats, to go along with Branyan and Beltre and the Ms will be in the hunt for the post season, but they will have to win their Division to get there, That means outplaying 3 tough teams in the West this year. Is your sports dream the Dbacks and Ms in the series? First we have to watch the NFL crown a new champ and then watch to see f the Lakers can overcome the Champion Boston Celtics.

I hope the ratings do Ok, Im tired of Yankees, Red Sox Angels type series. Philly has EX Mariner GM Pat Gillick and great guy very good pitcher Jamie Moyer also, given away by the Mariners. And the Rays what a neat story worst to first !! Major league baseball, mlb, something new & fresh for a change. No matter who you're routing for I have a feeling there may be some excitingmoments & turns in this years fall classic. what's your take ?
